Amy joined BAA in 2020 after 26 years at Cummins Inc. in roles ranging from Field Test Engineer to Service Functional Excellence Leader and Chief of Staff. With now over three decades of engineering and operational leadership, Amy Liimatta is a cornerstone of BAA’s executive team, leading BAA’s compliance and process improvement initiatives.
 

Currently serving as Director of Compliance, Amy manages the complexities of BAA’s diverse contract portfolio. Her dual expertise as a Six Sigma Black Belt and a certified Facility Security Officer (FSO) allows her to navigate intricate regulatory landscapes while maintaining peak operational efficiency. Amy’s leadership is instrumental in BAA’s expansion into government contracting, where her analytical precision and commitment to compliance ensure seamless execution for all stakeholders.
 

Amy earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Louisville.
