Job Summary
The Electrified Products System Product Engineer should have a general engineering understanding in many disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Controls / Software) to perform technical tasks at the subsystem and / or component level.
Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Support battery and system component issues of the full electric vehicle across mechanical, electrical, systems, software, and process design areas.
Lead issue resolution related to system software, controls, and calibration. Work closely with software development team to define requirements for software changes and validate released software per program requirements.
Support component level, sub-system and system-level testing for performance, reliability, and durability.
Support system validation and field tests - Participate in in-depth analysis of test data.
Develop validation test methods and protocols.
Generate technical reports and presentations as needed with the ability to present information in a clear and organized manner.

Good Technical Problem-Solving Skills
Manage the development and execution of the product Verification and Validation Plan
Experience using processes to minimize product failure modes (FMEA, FTA, DVP&R)
Experience with Product Development Execution, Monitoring and Control
Good Cross-Functional Design Integration Skills
Good Technical Documentation skills
Education Requirements
BS in Engineering or Technology desired (Other degree types and suitable experience will be considered)
