Fuel Systems team seeking an engineer to support the design & development of new gaseous fuel systems, including injectors, rails, and pressure / temperature sensors.
Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Apply gaseous fuels development experience to make and guide engineering decisions regarding product design, integration, and analytical / experimental verification for the development of injectors and rails with the goal of balancing tradeoffs and optimizing results.
Lead and/or support problem solving of gaseous fuel systems issues, including those issues involving multiple components or sub-systems that often cut across hardware and software/controls.
Ability to work effectively across functions and regions (US, China, India) to develop gaseous fuels test methods and define the equipment and infrastructure required for execution.
Work closely with purchasing and manufacturing team members to ensure seamless technical information sharing between functions.
Effectively communicate (oral and written) to all levels of technical audiences, cross-functional FS teams, leadership, and customers, in all global regions.
Desired Skills:
Experienced and proficient in gaseous and/or other spark ignited fuel systems design and development.
Familiar and proficient with testing standards and results interpretation of gaseous injector performance and endurance validation testing.
Capable of working and communicating effectively cross functionally
Education Requirements
BS / MS in Engineering desired (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace or equivalent)
