Seeking a development engineer to complete validation of fuel systems hardware (pumps, injectors, rails and associated subcomponents) for use on new engine development.
Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Validate fuel system components through analysis, subcomponent and full assembly testing
Assist in the procurement of parts and prototype build
Work closely with team to set up schedules and work through priority conflicts
Work closely with purchasing and manufacturing to ensure seamless technical information sharing between functions.
Create the necessary documentation and support engineering release.
Troubleshoot failures back to root cause.
Conduct cross-functional design reviews and document them.
Desired Skills
Automotive experience and mechanical aptitude
Familiarity with engines and engine systems strongly preferred
Understanding of Product Development process (from concept to production)
Ability to complete design/development tasks individually after project direction is given
Cross-functional design integration skills for neighboring components and sub-systems
Project management skills
Capable of working and communicating effectively cross functionally
Good communication skills - both verbal and written
Education Requirements
BS / MS in Engineering desired (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace or equivalent) and a minimum of 2 years of work experience
